Most parents would probably agree that their children should eat a healthy diet and everything in moderation. But what happens when the school steps in and essentially dictates what you can send, even if you feel that it’s a healthy choice?
That was the case for a mom in Australia who was sent this note home with her kindergartener for having packed sultanas (golden raisins) in her lunch.
According to KidSpot, the lunchconsisted of “a sandwich roll, two boiled eggs, an orange, kiwi fruit, and a handful of sultanas. She never has packaged food in her lunchbox or anything with refined sugar.”
When shared on , other parents were equally shocked, especially because “dried fruit” was listed as an “acceptable” snack on the note.
